You can learn plenty of facts from books. Trust us, we know. We've scoured our own bookshelves to research the lives, characteristics, and unique contributions of the animals that call Noah's Landing home.
We've also learned that some lessons are just better taught through inquiry, interaction, and engagement. That's why we've designed a series of educational programs designed to bring your students face to face with our animals to bring your science lessons to life.
Our educational programs are designed for teachers, homeschool groups, summer camps, and other organizations.
When you're ready, you can submit a program booking form to check our availability!
Bring your class to the zoo for a guided tour with our trained guides. Each tour begins at 10 a.m. and lasts 3-4 hours. During the tour, kids will explore the zoo while learning facts from our guides. Along the way, we will take out "kid-friendly" critters for interaction. Picnic tables and bathrooms are available on-site for a picnic lunch.
For Kindergarteners, we've changed our tours to emphasize animal movement and observation. For older students, we dive deeper into adaptations and biome.
Scheduled March - November.
Fees: $8/person (1 teacher free with each class of 20 or more)
